Lauren Gunderson could be the Ani DiFranco of the stage. At 25, already a seasoned actor in Atlanta's theater scene, Gunderson has written more than 15 plays on feminist and scientific themes. Her work has been widely hailed and produced by dozens of professional theater companies around the country. She has also garnered a handful of impressive awards, the latest of which will land her at Buffalo's New Phoenix Theatre next week. |

Simply red - 2/23/2007
It was quiet when we last visited Filippo's. This small restaurant features a large printed menu of standard Italian favorites with all the dishes everyone has loved for years. There's lots of red sauce in this place - the house sauce is fairly light and loose, gently seasoned. And, of course, there's lots of pasta, too. |
