Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards is seeking out medical opinions to see if soreness in his throwing shoulder is a problem. The Bills said today they sent Edwards for a routine magnetic resonance imaging test on the right shoulder during his year-end physical because he had complained of soreness in it. As the auto industry records its worst showing in at least 16 years, carmakers and dealers are pulling out all the stops to bring in buyers. Some are advertising two-for-one sales and Hyundai is offering to let buyers return their new car if they fall on hard times. GMAC will use its infusion of federal bailout money to resume lending money to car buyers — precisely the kind of thing the feds envisioned for money intended to loosen credit, and precisely the kind of thing the big banks that also got money are refusing to document.
