Simple, delicious asparagus

3/16/2005
Recipes don't come any easier than this. And not many yield such great results either.

Simple Roasted Asparagus

1 pound fresh asparagus

3 ablespoons olive oil

Dash salt

Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Snip off tough ends of asparagus. Arrange in a jelly roll pan and drizzle with olive oil.

Broil about 6 inches from the heat for about 4 minutes or until stalks are just bitey. Turn once. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Makes 3 to 4 servings.
