A soldier from Niagara Falls is the latest Western New Yorker to lose his life in Iraq. The Army informed the family of Spc. Lorne E. Henry Jr., 21, of Lindbergh Avenue that Henry had been killed in action Tuesday. No details of his death were immediately available.

Assistance available for paying heating bills -  2/27/2007
Assistance is available for National Fuel customers who are having trouble paying their heating bills, the utility company reports. The Neighbor for Neighbor Heat Fund and the Home Energy Assistance Plan are accepting applications. The company also can make special arrangements to help customers manage their bills.
