Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, his fabulous partner, are coming back to the world's stage, in a manner of speaking. This dazzling movie couple made nine musicals together for RKO and later, "The Barkleys of Broadway," for MGM.

The Revolution revisited -  3/2/2007
This story is all about Tom Hanks' seven-hour production to star Paul Giamatti as the man who led the brand-new United States after George Washington. And it's about his devoted and beloved wife, Abigail, as played by Laura Linney. We should see this series next year. Filming has just begun and will take all of the spring and summer. Right now, Hanks manages to get down to oversee his production at least once a month.

"We dug so deep three months into our marriage ... we had to dig really deep and that's what we'll do and what we're in the process of doing!" This is the highest paid female movie actor in the world, Nicole Kidman, submitting to some intense questions last week from her longtime pal Russell Crowe on Oprah's "Oscar" special. Russell was asking about Nicole's relationship to her new husband Keith Urban who went into rehab shortly after the honeymoon.

A hot date for lunch -  2/24/2007
Anderson Cooper has made himself worth millions to CNN, but just plain folks also like to throw money at the young broadcaster. "Lunch With..." was one of the items auctioned for Bailey House last week. Cooper went for $21,000. Let's hope he stays for dessert at those prices!

Sienna Miller's star turn -  2/23/2007
"Factory Girl" - the story of Andy Warhol and his first "Superstar" Edie Sedgwick - is the sort of compulsively enjoyable bad movie that Andy himself would have loved.
