If you were casting a nun, Rhea Perlman is not the first name likely to spring to mind. This isn’t a slap at Perlman’s acting ability. It’s simply that Perlman is a Brooklyn-born actress best known for playing a wisecracking barmaid on a little sitcom called “Cheers.” This doesn’t exactly scream “woman of God.”
